    It is strongly recommended that frequencies within the WRC-15 allocation only be used if there are no other frequencies available at 5 MHz under domestic (ITU-R article 4.4) permissions.

    Local nets and long rag chew QSOs should not use the WRC-15 allocation at 5 MHz but should instead make use of the 3,5 MHz, 5 MHz domestic or 7 MHz bands where there is more spectrum available.

    SSB may be used during emergencies involving the immediate safety of life and property and only by stations actually  involved in the handling of emergency traffic.

    The band segment 10 120 kHz to 10 140 kHz may be used for SSB transmissions in the area of Africa south of the equator during local daylight hours. News bulletins on any mode should not be transmitted on the 10 MHz band.

    ЗАМЕТКИ

    Частоты в плане полосы частот понимаются как «передаваемые частоты» (а не частоты подавленной несущей!)

    Чтобы предотвратить любую внеполосную передачу, максимальная настройка набора для режима USB Voice должна быть на 3 кГц ниже верхнего края полосы на диапазонах от 20 до 10 метров.

    (*) Самая низкая настройка набора для режима LSB Voice: 1 843, 3 603 и 7 053 кГц

    (##) Максимальная настройка набора для режима USB Voice в диапазоне 60 м: 5363 кГц

    CW QSO принимаются во всех диапазонах, за исключением сегментов радиомаяка. (Рекомендация DV05_C4_Rec_13)

    Амплитудная модуляция (AM) может использоваться в поддиапазонах телефонии при условии, что внимание уделяется пользователям соседних каналов. (NRRL Davos 05).

    Использование боковой полосы

    Рекомендуется использовать нижнюю боковую полосу ниже 10 МГц (LSB), а выше 10 МГц использовать верхнюю боковую полосу (USB).
